Cooking oil is still a problem that has not been resolved after a drastic price increase. Many people are harmed by this phenomenon, especially food carts or home-based business activists. This incident alarmed many people and made some traders and homemakers lose their money.

However, it is estimated that now many are circulating that the price of cooking oil has started to improve. Previously, the cost of cooking oil was around Rp. 57,000 for a two-liter package. Even today, the availability of packaged cooking oil is also increasing, making it easier to find.

However, the price range for NUSAKITA cooking oil is only around Rp. 43,000 to Rp. 46,500 for a two-liter package. Although NUSAKITA cooking oil is still relatively new to known by the public, it has more or less helped meet the basic needs of the community. The difference is quite far from ordinary cooking oil, and NUSAKITA cooking oil should be used by most people who get it. Its NUSAKITA products can be easily obtained through online shops or other e-commerce. The quality of NUSAKITA oil is the same as premium cooking oil. However, many people still don't know about NUSAKITA because this company is still relatively new since 2021. The NUSAKITA product can be an alternative, especially for homemakers who are confused about buying cooking oil products at slightly slanted prices.

Based on information from the Market Monitoring System and Basic Needs of the Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) stated that since August 16, 2022 yesterday, the national average price of cooking oil has decreased by Rp. 100 to Rp. 18,200 for one liter compared to the previous days.
The price range of cooking oil for premium packaging types based on the national average price is around Rp. 22,500 for one liter. As for the bulk type, the cost of one liter is around Rp. 14,100. The price differs slightly from the government's highest retail target, which ranges around Rp. 14,000 to Rp. 15,500 for bulk cooking oil.

The increase in cooking oil prices was caused by many factors, one of which was the domino effect which stimulated the global economy after various restrictions on access and activities resulted in the price of CPO commodities continuing to soar. Then other factors are no less crucial due to the Russo-Ukrainian war, so different commodity prices will continue to soar.
