Palm oil and kernel are the main commodities of PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN). The products produced are well known in local and international markets with timely supply to buyers followed by the quality produced such as Crude Palm Oil (CPO), Palm Kernel (PK), and Palm Kernel Meal (PKM). Seeing the domestic market need for 1 liter and 2 liter golden cooking oil products, in 2017 PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) also began to build a golden cooking oil factory operated by PTPN subsidiary, PT Industri Nabati Lestari (INL) which is expected to later participate in enlivening the competitive map of the cooking oil business, which is still controlled by private companies, both domestic and export. Since March 2020, the total production of golden cooking oil that has been produced by the INL company is 3,868 tons with total sales of Rp. 42.84 billion. INL& cooking oil production shows a significant growth so that the company has very good prospects to enter the domestic retail market.
